SpaceX Falcon 9, Crew 13, October 1, 2026

The weather kept everyone guessing until the end. Clouds and rain hid sunrise across much of the Space Coast, and forecasters gave only a 40% to 60% chance of acceptable conditions through the morning. SpaceX’s launch team called the weather “go” but dynamic in the final minutes, and the count never stopped.

Today’s flight closes out a long wait. Crew-13 was first set for September 12, but crews found an oxidizer leak in Grace‘s propulsion system during prelaunch processing. SpaceX replaced an oxidizer valve, and NASA reset the target to October 1.
